Good is the honest baseline, not the loss leader

The Good option is the job priced properly with the flat rate math and the estimate on this site: a like-for-like replacement at your real rate and markup. It is not a low number designed to be rejected. A customer who chooses Good should get a job you made money on, because a proposal built on a fake baseline is a proposal that costs you the trust that sells the upgrade.

Better is where the margin lives

Better adds the things the property actually needs: an expansion tank, new shutoffs, a pan and drain, a higher-grade fixture. Price it as an uplift on Good so the increment is visible and defensible. Most customers choose the middle option; the page puts the deposit and the monthly figure on it for that reason.

Best is the option you would install in your own house

Tankless with recirculation, whole-house filtration, a full repipe alongside the heater. Some customers want it, and a proposal without it never finds them. Price it as its own uplift on Good and let it sit at the top of the page. The page states how long the proposal is valid so the prices do not follow the supply house upward for free.
