Every figure on this page is computed from the inputs you enter, by the method stated below it. RoughInDesk publishes no market averages and quotes no survey: the defaults are a worked example to replace with your own. The pipe dimensions in the pipe-size tool are the published standard sizes, cited on that page.
A plumbing inspection form that follows the water through the property, with a line per item and a condition per line: the service and the main shutoff, the pressure, the supply lines and stops, the water heater with its install date read from the label, every fixture and its drain, the vents, the clean-outs and the signs of a past backup, then the findings with a priority and the signature. The plumbing inspection checklist on this site fills the form and produces the report, free and without an account; RoughInDesk Pro files it against the property.

The supply block
Service line material, main shutoff and whether it closes, pressure at a hose bib, regulator where fitted, stop at each fixture. Condition and note per line; the shutoff location written for the next emergency call.
The water heater block
Type, capacity, fuel, install date from the label, relief valve and its discharge, expansion tank, venting, signs of age. The install date is the line the form will not let you skip because it is the replacement conversation later.
The fixture and drain block
Every fixture run and observed, its supply and drain, the clean-outs located, the vents at the roof, signs of a past backup. Where a sewer camera is recommended the form records why.
The findings and the signature
Defects with a priority and a recommendation, the inspector's name, the signature, the date. The checklist on this site produces the form filled; Pro files it against the property with the photographs and prices the recommendations from the book. From the vendors' own pricing pages: Tradify lists Lite at $47, Pro at $51 and Plus at $61 per user per month; Jobber lists Core at $49 per month for one user with additional users at $29 each; Housecall Pro lists Basic at $59 per month billed annually or $79 monthly. RoughInDesk Pro is $47 per month for the whole crew.
