Supply: service, shutoff, pressure, stops

The service line and its material, the main shutoff and whether it closes, the pressure at a hose bib, the regulator where fitted, and the stop at every fixture. Each line has a condition and a note; the shutoff's location is written so the next emergency call has it.

The water heater

Type, capacity, fuel, install date from the label, the relief valve and its discharge line, the expansion tank, the venting, the signs of age. The install date is the field that generates the replacement conversation later, and the checklist will not let it be skipped.

Fixtures, drains, vents, clean-outs

Every fixture run and observed with its supply, its stop and its drain; the clean-outs located; the vents checked at the roof; the signs of a past backup recorded. Where a sewer camera is recommended, the checklist records why.
