Built from your loaded cost
The rate is the wage plus the taxes, the insurance, the truck, the tools, the phone and the office, divided by the billable hours rather than the paid hours; the flat rate tool on this site produces it from your figures. The book multiplies it by each task's standard time; the arithmetic is the same for every shop, the figures are not.
The parts at cost and at markup
Each task's parts at their cost from your supplier, marked up to carry the truck and the supply-house trip, with the cost in one place that the inventory list also reads. The template holds both columns; the customer sees the flat price.
